No, I do not accept insurance. I’m an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. I am happy to provide you with a superbill for potential reimbursement from your insurer.
Insurance companies often require therapists to assign diagnostic labels and follow treatment guidelines that are driven by reimbursement rather than what is truly best for the client. I believe this can feel limiting and, at times, harmful.
My responsibility is to you—not to a third party. By working outside of insurance networks, I’m able to provide thoughtful, individualized care without restrictions on the depth, pace, or focus of our work. You are a person, not a number, and our time together reflects that.
-
A superbill is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. I’m happy to provide one upon request. Reimbursement depends on your specific plan, so it’s a good idea to contact your insurer and ask if you have out-of-network mental health benefits, what your deductible is, the reimbursement rate after the deductible, and whether there are any session limits.
-
Payment is accepted via secure online payment, including major credit and debit cards. Payment is due at the time of service.
